Spring is in the air and it's time for tidying up my computer files and taking stock of where to go in my family history researches.
Over the years I've accumulated a wealth of data and information about each strand of my family tree but it's true to say I've neglected keeping good records of sources relying too much on computer folders and not enough on referencing.
However, I'm not overly motivated to go over old ground but I know there are several brick walls that could do with some more chiselling. So I've made a start by looking at the places of birth of all my known antecedents going back five generations and can now see at a glance where I need to do some more searching.
